“I worked with June last summer. It was a really tough time for me. I was moving from one state to another and starting a new job. My meditation reflection sessions with June helped me get off to a great start. The only word I can use to describe meditation sessions with June is transformative. I had some of the most moving and meaningful meditation sessions I’ve ever experienced in my life. She reaffirmed for me the power of self-love, being present, being OK with being imperfect and the need to take care of myself with love and compassion. Thank you June, and if you’re reading this, try a session. You won’t regret it!”

“I had my first session with June a few months ago and it was amazing. I booked a session to work on my on-going manuscript. She took the time beforehand to read a huge chunk of my writing and went above and beyond to create personalized writing prompts based on my work and my problem areas that I had emailed her about. We meditated together with my writing and she made me feel empowered by my own voice. With her guidance, I was able to have a clearer vision for my piece. Bonus: An entirely new manuscript came from one of her writing exercises! I highly recommend booking a session with June.”

“I contacted June because I was in need of developing some new approaches to handling multiple sources of stress. I found her approach to be very individualized. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. June was able to assess what some of my challenges were, and then show me a few methods of relaxation and contemplation that allowed me focus on the here and now, which was what I was after as a goal. I would highly recommend June for her calm, personable and appropriately humorous and individualized approach.”

“I would highly recommend June with any help in meditation. I’m a beginner and she gave me a lot of great tips on how to lengthen my practice and make it part of my weekly routine. She goes above and beyond and connects you with others in your community that can support you and gives great book suggestions. She is a compassionate person who will genuinely listen to you and think of solutions.”

“With the writing, it was new, and I remember getting moved. I didn’t know I had that in there. I gained a new level of understanding of each of the tools and what an important role they can play in my day-to-day. Now I have 3 tools I can use going forward and I have a better understanding of those tools.” – Craig Bateman

Vola sessions are a great way to take time for yourself but in a small communal group, with a social aspect that includes meeting new people, discussion, and building connections with others. In that way, they are very different from a regular yoga or meditation class, where we often are practicing in a group but the experience is still individual (and sometimes that can be lonely). What makes Vola special to me is that I leave with not only a sense of relaxation for myself, but also feeling like I contributed to and received gifts from the group as a whole during our practice together. – Sarah Richards Graba
